Roasted Winter Pears

- 2 pears, peeled, halved and cored
- 14 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
Directions

1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Line baking sheet with non-stick spray or release foil.

3Place each pear on a tablespoon of brown sugar, flat side of the pear down.

4Roast for about 20 minutes.

5Remove from the oven and place in serving bowl.

6Pour in the sherry, turning pears over so that they fully coated.

7Serve immediately.
