Ingredients

  • crushed garlic
  • 4 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp anchovy paste
  • 1 egg yolk
  • olive oil
  • fresh pepper
  • romaine leaves
  • 1 lemon
  • ground Parmesan cheese
  • crumbled bacon

Directions

    Rub inside of wooden bowl with crushed garlic. Add 4 drops Worcester sauce, 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp anchovy paste, 1 egg yolk.

    Whisk in olive oil until creamy.

    Add fresh pepper.

    When ready to serve put romaine leaves...no stalks, in bowl.

    Squeeze 1 lemon over lettuce, add ground Parmesan cheese and crumbled bacon.

    Toss salad and serve.
