- 9 cups Chester's Plain Puffed Corn
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1/4 cups Light Karo Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
Directions

1Pour puffed corn in a brown paper grocery sack.

2In a glass microwave bowl: Combine sugar, syrup and butter.

3Cook in the microwave on full power for 4 minutes, stirring 2 times.

4Remove and add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and stir until well blended.

5Pour over puffed corn.

6Stir with a wooden spoon until well coated.

7Fold sack over and put in the microwave for 90 seconds.

8Take out and shake well, turn sack over and put back in the microwave for another 90 seconds, stopping every 30 seconds to shake well.

9If you dont shake it, it will burn.

10Spread on waxed or parchment paper to let cool.
