- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 egg white
- mint flavoring (oil of winter green)
Directions

1Boil sugar, water and Karo syrup to 248°.

2Add cream of tartar.

3Remove from stove and pour over 1 egg white, well beaten, like divinity.

4When thick and set up, add flavoring mint, winter green and coloring, if desired.

5Drop large spoonfuls onto powdered sugar.

6Roll around, flatten out with rolling pin and then roll in rolls like a jelly roll.

7Break into pieces when set up or cut with scissors.
