- 1 1/2 cups water boiling
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup corn syrup, light
- 1 x yeast, compressed compressed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk, sweetened condensed
- 1/2 cup water lukewarm
Directions

1Combine boiling water and sweetened condensed milk.

2Stir until blended.

3Pour over rolled oats.

4Allow to stand 1 hour.

5Add cooking oil, syrup, salt, flour, and yeast which has been softened in lukewarm water.

6Beat thoroughly.

7Allow to rise until double in bulk, then beat thoroughly.

8Pour into well-oiled pan.

9Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

10Bake in moderate oven at 375F (190C).
