Ingredients

  • 1 box Pillsbury roll mix
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast (included in box mix)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Combine roll mix, yeast, sugar and salt.

    Melt butter.

    Beat egg; add to hot water.

    Add to dry ingredients.

    Knead until soft; roll into a ball.

    Set aside in a warm place; cover with a tea towel.

    Let rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

    Punch down; knead a little.

    Using hands, break and roll pieces of dough into small balls and place into round, greased cake pans.

    Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
