- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 5 c. plain flour
Directions

1Add together the first 3 ingredients.

2Cream Crisco and add sugar.

3Add egg, salt and water.

4Add yeast mixture.

5Add flour and put into greased bowl.

6Let rise until double in bulk.

7Knead and put in refrigerator.

8Let rise 2 to 2 1/2 hours before baking in a 350° oven.
