- 3 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water (must be 110~)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
Directions

1Pour 1 cup warm water over salt, sugar and shortening.

2Stir until dissolved, then add 1 cup cold water.

3Add yeast and eggs. Add 7 1/2 cups flour.

4Cover and let rise in warm place 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

5Work down; cover tightly with aluminum foil.

6Refrigerate overnight.
