- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. bread flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco (not oil)
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over the flours.

2Combine eggs, milk, water, sugar and Crisco in a pan, stirring until shortening melts. Set pan off and cool just when you can set pan in hand.

3Pour over flour.

4Mix with hands (dough will be sticky). Cover and let rise 1 hour.

5Punch dough down and refrigerate overnight or about 6 to 7 hours in the refrigerator.
