- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Heat milk, sugar and butter to boiling point.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Dissolve yeast in water.

4Add yeast and 2 cups flour to mixture.

5Mix well and let rise for 2 hours.

6Sift remaining flour with salt, soda and baking powder and add to mixture.

7Make into rolls and let rise before baking.
-
8Brush rolls with melted butter before rising.
-
9Bake at 425°.

10Makes 3 dozen rolls.
