  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. warm water
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Mix all the ingredients in big refrigerator bowl.

    Add 6 1/2 cups sifted flour or 6 cups unsifted flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover tightly and place in refrigerator overnight.

    Make into rolls about 1 1/2 hours before you plan to use them and let them rise. Cook at 400° until done.

    This dough will keep for several days in the refrigerator.
