- 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. hot water
- 4 c. plain flour
Directions

1In a large bowl, which is capable of being covered tightly, beat egg; add salt, cooking oil and sugar.

2Blend well.

3Add 1 cup hot water.

4Blend well.

5Add 2 cups flour.

6Blend well . Add yeast and blend well.

7Add 2 more cups flour and blend.

8Cover and refrigerate.

9When doubled in size, punch down dough.

10Form rolls by hand or roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

11Dip half of roll in butter and fold over.

12Place on greased cookie sheet.

13Allow to rise in warm place until doubled in size.

14Bake until golden brown in a 425° oven.
