- 2 pkgs. dry yeast
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup all bran (Kellogs)
- 1 cup shortening (Crisco)
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 cups plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup lukewarm water
Directions

1Mix sugar, bran, salt, and shortening.

2Add hot water.

3In another bowl pour lukewarm water over yeast.

4Beat eggs separately and add to sugar bran mixture.

5When cool, add yeast to the mixture.

6Add flour which has been sifted.

7Put mixture in refrigerator.

8When it has doubled in size, it is ready to make rolls.

9Let rise thoroughly.

10Bake in hot over 400° - 450°.
