Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 9 eggs
  • 3/4 lb. margarine
  • 6 lb. flour

Directions

    Put water, yeast and sugar in mixing bowl and let it stand for 10 minutes.

    Add melted butter and eggs and mix.

    Add flour and salt.

    Mix until soft dough forms.

    Butter and set in warm place to rise for 30 to 45 minutes.

    Punch dough down and roll out.

    Put in pans and butter.

    Let rise and bake at 450° until brown.
