- Shred cabbage
- put it in a bowl and sprinkle it with salt all through. Let it sit for an hour or so to soften up a bit. You may saute onion in the frying pan first
- then add the cabbage and parsley (dried)
- let it cook for a while (half an hour??) then add tomato sauce and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes. Stir it so it doesn't stick.
Directions

1Instead of onion and parsley, you can use garlic and dill for a different flavour. It's best to use fresh greens if you have. You may eat it as a side dish to rice, pasta, potatoes, patties, etc.etc.
