- one and half kg potato, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 800 g canned tomatoes, chopped
- 450 g ground pork or 450 g pork mixed with beef
- 250 ml beef stock
- salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions

1Heat the oil in a large pan or wok and use to fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes or until just softened.

2Add the onions and fry for a further 10 minutes.

3Transfer the mixture to an oven-proof casserole dish then top with the meat and tomatoes.

4Season with salt and black pepper then stir to combine.

5Pour the beef stock over the top then transfer to an oven pre-heated to 170°C and bake for about 60 minutes. Serve hot.
