  • 100 grams Pesticide-free rose petals
  • 75 grams Sugar
  • 50 ml Lemon juice
  • 200 ml Water

Directions

    Wash the rose petals and separate with your hands.

    Place into a pot with the other ingredients and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.

    When the rose petals have all become soft and take on a paste-like consistency, it's done.

    Keep an eye on it and add water as necessary.

    This probably isn't necessary, but in my home, once the petals have softened, we use a stick blender to make it into a paste.
