- 1 c. flour or more
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly with sugar and salt.

2Add milk and flour and beat until smooth.

4hot lard or Crisco, then in batter, covering 2/3 of iron.

5Return iron to lard, thoroughly covering batter for 20 to 35 seconds.

6Remove as much oil as possible, then drop rosettes onto paper.
