  • 1 gal. tomatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 4 medium white onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. sugar (optional)
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 4 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • hot peppers to taste (10 or 12), cut small

Directions

    Cook all ingredients together until tomatoes will mash easy. Fill jars and seal.

    Cold pack for 25 minutes.

    Makes 9 pints.
