  • 1 teaspoon basil fresh, chopped
  • 2 large eggs separated
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa
  • 1/2 cup mizithra cheese grated, or kefalotyri cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg grated
  • 12 each phyllo (filo) pastry sheets sheets
  • 13 cup butter or margarine, melted and warm
  • 2 large eggs hard-cooked, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley leaves fresh
