  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cubed
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1/2 c. instant rice
  • 1 can chicken and rice soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can whole mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 soup can water

    Brown steak, onion and celery in small amount of fat.

    Pour into 2-quart casserole.

    Add rice, soups, mushrooms and water. Blend ingredients; bake at 350° for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
