- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. dark rum
Directions

1Sprinkle nuts evenly in bottom of tube pan, greased and floured.

2Combine cake mix, eggs, water, oil and rum in large mixing bowl.

3Blend and mix for 4 minutes on medium speed.

4Pour over pecans.

5Bake for about 1 hour at 325° or until cake tester comes out clean.

6Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.

7Glaze with Rum Glaze while cake is still warm.
