- 1 box (18 1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- Rum Sauce
Directions

1Grease and flour regular tube pan or fluted tube pan.

2Combine cake mix, sugar, oil, eggs and sour cream.

3Blend with electric mixer at low speed until ingredients are moistened.

4Beat at medium speed 2 minutes.

5Stir in pecans.

6Pour half of batter into prepared pan.

7Combine cinnamon and brown sugar.

8Sprinkle over batter.

9Pour remaining batter into pan.

10Bake 45 minutes at 350° or until a toothpick comes out clean.

11Allow cake to cool 10 minutes.

12Meanwhile, prepare Rum Sauce, then pour over cake.

13Cool at least 1 1/2 hours before turning out of pan.
