  • 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. rum
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. rum
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 stick butter

    Allow to boil 2 to 3 minutes.

    Remove cake from oven, and pans.

    Pour mixture over cake and let stand for 1 hour.
