- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. Bacardi rum
- 2/3 c. water
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 c. Bacardi rum
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour two 8-inch or 9-inch cake pans.

3Combine cake mix, eggs, 2/3 cup Bacardi rum and the water in large bowl; blend well.

4Beat at medium mixer speed for 2 to 4 minutes.

5Turn into prepared pans; bake according to package directions.

6Cool layers thoroughly; split in half horizontally.
