  • 6 chicken livers
  • 18 water chestnuts
  • 9 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger

Directions

    Cut each liver into 3 pieces; fold each piece around a water chestnut.

    Wrap a piece of bacon around the liver and chestnut and fasten in place with a toothpick.

    Marinate in soy sauce mixed with ginger for 1 hour.

    Place on a rack in a shallow pan and bake at 425° for 10 minutes, or until bacon is browned and crisp.
