- 2 qt. green tomatoes
- 1 qt. ripe tomatoes
- 3 bunches celery
- 3 large onions
- 3 large red peppers
- 3 green peppers
- 1 small head cabbage
- 1 large ripe cucumber
- 1 c. salt
- 3 pt. vinegar
- 1 qt. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Sprinkle salt over mixture of tomatoes, celery, onions, peppers, cabbage and cucumbers.

2Let stand overnight, then drain well.

3Cook vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and black pepper until clear, about 1 hour.

4Pour over mixture.

5Put in jars and seal.
