Rump Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lb. or up to 8 lb. roast
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 small pkg. carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Wash roast.

    Place in roast pan with cover.

    Salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine soups and water.

    Mix well with fork.

    Pour over roast.

    Cut bell pepper in slices and lay on top of roast. Put on cover and bake in oven at 350° for about 3 hours.

    One hour before done, take out and add the potatoes and carrots.
