  • 3 1/2 pt. meat stock
  • 9 oz. chopped cabbage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato puree or 3 tomatoes
  • 2 to 3 beets
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves

    Add cabbage and onion to boiling stock.

    Meanwhile, cook and puree other vegetables, then add to the soup and cook about 10 minutes more.
