Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 small and 1 large container frozen strawberries

Directions

    In saucepan, mix sugar, unflavored gelatin and water.

    Stir over low heat until dissolved and clear in color.

    Remove from heat and place in large bowl.

    Blend in sour cream and extract. Chill until slightly thickened.

    Blend in Cool Whip.

    Blend well and chill in 1-quart mold until firm for 5 hours.

    Serve with defrosted strawberries.
