  • 1 box Pillsbury pie crust or your own recipe
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 c. cabbage, chopped
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 envelope instant brown gravy mix
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. savory (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Saute onion, carrots and cabbage in hot butter.

    Remove from skillet.

    In same pan, brown meat and lower heat.

    Drain meat. Stir in water, gravy mix, parsley, salt, savory and pepper.

    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.

    Add to vegetables.
