- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- salt to taste
- red lumpfish caviar
- parsley sprigs
Directions

1Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter for 8 to 10 minutes, until limp and golden, but not brown.

2In another skillet, saute bread crumbs in remaining 1 tablespoon butter, stirring until just golden.

3(Dark crumbs will taste bitter, so be careful not to let them become too dark.)
