Ingredients

  • 4 qt. water
  • 3 c. fresh orange juice (from 6 oranges)
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 18 oz. can unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 5 Tbsp. loose tea
  • 8 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. or less of sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. whole cloves

Directions

    Add orange juice, lemon juice and sugar to tea (which you have already made with 2 quarts of water).

    To this add cinnamon and cloves (which have been tied in cheesecloth).

    Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer.

    Simmer for 45 minutes.

    Remove bag with spices.

    Add pineapple juice.

    Refrigerate.

    Before serving, heat it up.
