  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. or more day-old bread, torn into bread crumbs
  • 1 c. raisins (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Combine both types of milk in a saucepan.

    Heat until scalding hot.

    Add butter and stir well. Set aside and let cool until only warm.

    Blend eggs, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon together.

    Add the warm milk.

    Blend for several minutes.
