Ingredients
- 12 cup cold 1% low-fat milk
- 14 cup egg substitute
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, finely chopped
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 34 cup chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425.

2In a small bowl, whisk together mlk and egg until blended.

3Set aside.

4Blend flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sage and black pepper in food processor.

5Add cold butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal.

6Do Not Overmix.

7Add milk mixture and process just until moist clumps begin to form.

8Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead until dough holds together, about 6 kneads.

9Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness.

10Cut out bisquits using a 2 inch biscuit or cookie cutter.

11Place buscuits on large non stick baking sheet.

12Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
