  • 5 lb. ground beef
  • 2 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 5 tsp. Morton Quick Tender salt
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 5 tsp. table salt
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate for 24 hours.

    Take out and mix well again and return to refrigerator for another 24 hours.

    Shape into loaves and bake on broiler pan at 160° for 8 hours, turning after first 4 hours.

    After it cools, you can slice it and freeze it in sealed bags.
