Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. from 16 oz. pkg. saltines
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped (dry or fresh)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. each: marjoram and nutmeg
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (golden mushroom is delicious)
  • 1 c. milk
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, cut up

Directions

    Combine first 9 ingredients; mix well.

    By 1/4 cupfuls, shape into balls or patties.

    Heat soup, milk and garlic salt.

    Pour over patties.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.

    During last 10 minutes, add mushrooms.
