- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Mix 1/2 cup soup and all ingredients, except water and mushrooms.

2Mix thoroughly.

3Shape into 6 patties.

4Place in a shallow baking dish (9 x 13-inch).

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Spoon off fat.

6Mix remaining soup, water and the mushrooms; pour over meat.

7Bake 20 minutes more.
