- 1 lb. ground round
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. beef bouillon broth
- 1/2 c. Burgundy or cooking wine
Directions

1Lightly mix beef, half and half, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into oval patties.

2Heat butter, add mushrooms and cook until lightly browned.

3Remove from pan.

4Add about 2 tablespoons more butter to skillet.

5Add patties and cook until brown on both sides.

6Remove patties.

7Add flour to drippings.

8(If necessary, add more butter.)

9Cook until thickened, add beef broth and cooking wine.

10Continue cooking until thick.

11Return patties and mushrooms to gravy, simmer until meat has finished cooking.
