- 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 beef bouillon cubes/pkg.
- 1 tsp. bottled sauce (for gravy)
- 1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
- 1 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In skillet over medium heat in hot butter, cook onions until tender, stirring frequently.

2Stir in cornstarch, salt, bouillon, gravy sauce and 1 1/2 cups water; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

3Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes.

4Keep mixture warm.
