Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground venison
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • flour
  • 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 (4 1/2 oz.) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth

    In a large bowl, combine first 10 ingredients

    Mix well. Shape into 10 patties; thoroughly coat each patty with flour. Heat 1/3 cup oil in skillet over medium heat.

    Add patties and brown on both sides.

    Transfer patties to a greased roasting pan. Place onion and mushrooms over meat.
