Ingredients

  • 3 lb. stew meat, chopped in 1/2-inch cubes
  • olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 6 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. Masa Hirina
  • salt and pepper

    Cover bottom of Dutch oven with olive oil and meat.

    Add everything, but Masa Hirina.

    Mix well and simmer 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until meat is tender.
