Salmon Appetizer Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 (7 3/4 oz.) can pink salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper

Directions

    Microwave onion and butter on High 30 to 45 seconds or until onion is tender.

    Microwave cream cheese on Medium 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until softened.

    Stir cream cheese into onion and butter mixture.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Shape into a ball.

    Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 2 hours before serving.

    Serve with crackers or cocktail bread.
