- 1 (15 oz.) can salmon, flaked
- 1 egg
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. cornmeal
Directions

1Drain salmon, reserving liquid.

2Add baking powder to liquid and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes.

3Beat in egg; add onion and salmon.

4Stir in enough flour and meal to form mixture into balls the size of an egg.

5Deep fat fry until golden brown.

6Makes 10 to 14 balls.
