Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red or pink salmon
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil

Directions

    Debone salmon and place in medium size bowl.

    Mash with a fork.

    Add remaining ingredients, mix well.

    If mixture is loose add a little more flour.

    Form into small cakes and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, flip and brown other side.
