- 1 (1 lb.) can salmon, drained and flaked
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- piquant sauce or creamed peas
Directions

1In a bowl, combine salmon, crumbs, chopped onion, butter and salt.

2Combine milk and egg.

3Add to salmon mixture and mix thoroughly.

4Shape into a loaf on a greased shallow baking pan or in 7 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 2 1/4-inch loaf pan.

5Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

6Serve with piquant sauce or creamed peas.

7Makes 3 or 4 servings.
