  • 2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 3 to 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red or green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, squeezed
  • 28 oz. can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 can chopped green chilies (optional)

Directions

    Put peppers, onion and garlic in blender with juice from tomatoes.

    Blend a few seconds to chop; add remaining ingredients. Blend a second or two to chop up tomatoes; stir.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
