Ingredients

  • 10 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
  • 4 c. chopped green and banana peppers (about 4 green and 5 yellow)
  • 2 c. chopped jalapeno peppers and 2 chilies, chop fine and remove seeds
  • 2 c. finely chopped onions
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Directions

    Place all but last ingredient in kettle and simmer 20 minutes. Remove 1/3 of mixture and place in blender.

    Pour back into kettle and stir.

    Add tomato paste.

    Stir and simmer 10 minutes.

    Makes 7 pints.
