  • 2 c. ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic or powdered
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 to 5 jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 small can tomato sauce (low sodium)

Directions

    Chop or blend all vegetables.

    Combine all ingredients in saucepan.

    Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

    Pour into hot jars.

    Freeze when cooled.
