  • 2 c. peeled tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped scallions (including tops)
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped hot pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped sweet green pepper
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped cilantro (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Chop each ingredient by hand.

    Mix all the ingredients together.

    Taste and adjust the seasonings.

    Let the salsa stand for at least 30 minutes.

    Stir well before serving.
